First-class criminal law representatives in Albania

Lawyer Gëzim Veleshnja graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana in 1981 with the title “Jurist”.

In 1986, he was head of the Prosecution of Tirana, the “Other crimes” sector.

In 1988, he was deputy chairman of the Investigation Institution in Tirana.

In 1994, he started exercising legal consuel and representation in criminal law in Tirana.

In 2002, he worked as a Legal Advisor in the Bureau of the Parliament of Albania, a position he held up until 2005, when he made a return in the legal representation field.

From 2013 he was appointed Director of the Cabinet of the Speaker of the Parliament of Albania. He served in this position until 2014, when he was appointed by the Parliament as one the members of the Central Electoral Commission.

As of 2021 he is again exercising legal representation especially in criminal law, family law, etc.
